Summerfest is closed tonight to give their employees a holiday in place of the 4th of July this Wednesday. I’m sure all of the workers will be happy for a day off to recuperate after what was quite a busy, hot & successful opening weekend of the fest. Meanwhile music lovers & party animals, there’s still lots for us to do this evening. Live local music is still being played and the libations are still a-flowing so come out to one of the fun events listed below if you’re looking for something to do. I personally will be enjoying the sweet tunes at Frank’s Power Plant in Bay View provided by The Midwestern Charm (all the way from Oshkosh), Myles Coyne & Caley Conway of The Rusty Nickel Band and Silent Old Mountains (on tour from Maryland). Show starts around 9:30, cover is $5 and for those of you who don’t know Frank’s, the drinks are cheap & the music is loud.
