So Summerfest workers & goers had a day off yesterday from the fest, hopefully everyone rested up for today because it’s a hot one! Please remember to keep cool during these high temperatures, especially if you’re outside enjoying the sun & music at what is sure to be a busy Summerfest grounds today. Stay hydrated (you can bring unopened water bottles into the grounds), pack your sunblock, spend some time in the shade & don’t forget to eat.

Onto the fun stuff, there is LOTS of local music happening today and tonight so make sure to check some of it out, showtimes are listed below. A couple local shows I’d recommend, Grace Weber at BMO Harris at 5pm and DJ Tarik Moody aka the Architect of 88.9 Radio Milwaukee at Cascio at 8:30. If you’re looking for bigger shows, definitely Robert Randolph & The Family Band at Briggs & Stratton or Devotchka at the Summerfest Rock Stage, both play at 10pm. And of course we have the annual 3rd of July fireworks display tonight starting around 9:30pm at the lakefront, make sure to get there early to save your spot!
